THREE PEOPLE OFF THE STREET & ON THE WAY HOME!!
Officer Stahmann called with 3 people needing a motel and a way home to OK. One came for rehab, one came from LB and one was a victim of domestic violence. They stayed in the motel for 3 nights, had Domino's to eat and McDonald's for breakfast before getting on the bus. They will all stay with family until they get on their feet.
Thank you for supporting Ashlee's Homeless Fund's efforts. gofund.me/67b0e161

QUALITY OF LIFE COMES THROUGH AGAIN! We received a call last week from a guy I provided glasses for 4 years ago. He said he was ready to go to rehab. I put him in a motel for a couple of days. Officer Stahmann finally got him a bed after I tried for days to find an available bed. Quality Of Life gets people off the streets, saves lives and reduces crime!! These guys are the best. ... Donald a 53 year old man, thought Long Beach would be better than Amarillo given that he is homeless. He has been here for about five months.and found out it is not safe on the streets of Long Beach. He is going home via Greyhound today to his dog and friends.
I received a call from Officer Stahmann this morning at 730 asking if Ashlee's could assist with a bus ticket. We provided the ticket, food, snacks, water, wipes and a hygiene kit for the trip.
Thank you to everyone who makes our work possible!

She has several medical issues leaving her disabled. They were able to get her and her dog into the new Recuperative Care Center at Community Hospital.
